LTO Universal Cleaning Cartridge. Compatible with LTO Ultrium drives*
All LTO Drives require proper maintenance and head-cleaning. Use Sony LTO Cleaning Cartridges to keep your drives operating properly. Please follow all of your drive manufacturer's maintenance and cleaning recommendations.
LTO Universal cleaning tapes are equipped with a computer memory chip. This chip stores various information and it has an embedded code that is recognized by the compatible drive's firmware. Once the cleaning cartridge is used to capacity, 15 - 50 uses dependent on the drive, the drive will no longer accept the cleaning tape and will eject the tape, prohibiting further use.
