Due to the unexpected closure of Overland Tandberg, the sole manufacturer of RDX products, and the resulting inability to provide additional inventory, HPE RDX Storage products have now reached end-of-life (EOL). We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
The RDX (Removable Disk Cartridge) is a rugged, cartridge style hard disk drive that when paired with an internal or external RDX docking station provides an excellent backup solution. Backups can be performed with software or with drag and drop file access and fast disk based performance (up to 360 GB/hr). There is a choice of disk capacities ranging from 500 GB, 1 TB, 2 TB, 3 TB and 4 TB of data in a single cartridge. These long lasting removable disk cartridges are forward and backward compatible with all the RDX Internal and External Docking Stations RDX cartridges (2TB and lower) are also compatible with Dell RD1000 systems.
